Michael J. Reiswig moved to Arlington, Texas in 1989 after being raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Michael graduated in December 1977 from Midwestern State University receiving a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting and minor studies in Economics and Business Administration.
Working in both public and private accounting, Michael and Marty Reiswig started their first business, Reiswig & Company in 1985 performing audit services for property and casualty insurance companies. The company grew and between 1985 and 1998, the company became the second largest national service firm of its kind to the property and casualty industry.
Building an expertise in commercial insurance premium determination positioned Michael as one of the insurance industry's top experts in his specialty. In 1998, his first customer, Wausau Insurance Company, purchased Reiswig & Company and wrapped the family business values, excellence in customer service, and quality that was synonymous with Wausau Insurance.
Having established himself in the Arlington, Texas community since 1989, Michael and Marty Reiswig are proud parents of Katy Reiswig, an honors student graduate of The Oakridge School and now an undergraduate vocal performance student at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Michael and Marty are very active in their community serving and supporting local charities and social programs. Michael currently servies as a Commissioner on the City of Arlington's Planning & Zoning Commission, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Arlington Boys & Girls Club and Board Member and Treasurer of the River Legacy Foundation. In addition, Michael serves as the Chairperson of the Arlington Board of REALTORS Community Services Sub-Committee and as a member of the Task Force for the Arlington Board of REALTORS Community Service Foundation.
A multi-million dollar producer since 2001, Michael practices with his wife Marty daily on a full time basis in the local real estate market. Michael holds a Texas Brokers license, is a member of the Arlington Board of REALTORS, the Texas Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS. Michael is the Principal, Broker and Manager of DFWProperties.net.
Marty Reiswig is a 1974 graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas with post graduate work at Texas Tech in Lubbock. Marty is married to Michael J. Reiswig. Marty's work experience in real estate, insurance and the legal professions delivers a unique perspective for clients needing strong entrepreneurial, negotiating and clear common sense advice in their real estate needs. Together with Michael, Marty helped develop a national auditing firm working with Commercial Insurance organizations nationwide starting in 1989 where she was Senior Vice President overseeing Personnel and Client Support Services for the company.
Today, Marty is a multi-million dollar producing licensed real estate agent working with Michael J.
Reiswig. Marty is active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for the Arlington Boy's and Girl's Club a member of the Board of Regents of the Oakridge School, a member of the Board of Directors of the Arlington Symphony, assisting with fundraising for the Cancer Research Foundation of North Texas, and a member of the Community Service sub-committee for the Arlington Board of REALTORS.
Marty holds a Texas Real Estate Salesperson license, is a member of the Arlington Board of REALTORS, the Texas Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS. Marty is a Principal and Manager of DFWProperties.net.
